Connectors are the termination side of the Wire - Cables - Connectors division: the fittings that finish a cable run at the device, the wall plate, the splitter or the head end. For antenna, satellite and video work that usually means compression F connectors on RG6 coax, and Bursma Electronic Distributing supplies connectors like these wholesale to dealers and installers.

Compression F connectors for RG6 and other terminations

A compression F connector is crimped onto prepared coax with a compression tool, which seats the connector evenly around the cable and gives a consistent, weather-resistant termination. Installers match the connector to the cable it goes on and strip the cable with a matching prep tool, so the connector, the cable and the tool are usually chosen together.

Beyond coax, connectors on a low-voltage job also cover the ends of data, audio and control runs, wherever cable pulled from bulk has to be terminated by hand rather than replaced with a finished cable.
