The Audio - Video division is where Bursma Electronic Distributing supplies the hardware behind home theater, distributed audio and commercial AV jobs. In business since 1947 and now a custom integration distributor in Michigan and Ohio, we sell wholesale to dealers, installers and integrators, not to the public. The twelve sub-categories below cover the signal chain from source to speaker, plus the mounts, racks and cable that every install needs.

Custom integration distributor for Michigan and Ohio dealers

Most AV jobs pull from several of these categories at once: a receiver or amplifier, the speakers it drives, the cable between them and somewhere to put the electronics. As an audio video distributor for integrators, we group the division so you can build a job list in one place and order it on one dealer account. The links below go straight to each product list.

Sources, amplification and signal distribution

The front end of a system lives in three categories:

  • Receivers for theater rooms and multi-zone listening areas.
  • Amps for driving distributed speaker zones or adding power where a receiver runs short.
  • Modulators for putting a video source onto a coax distribution system so it can be viewed on other sets in the building.

Speakers, subwoofers and room controls

The output side of the system is split by how the sound is delivered and controlled:

  • Speakers for theater, background music and zone audio work.
  • Subwoofers to add low-frequency output to a theater or listening room.
  • Sound Bars for rooms where a single unit under or near the display is the better fit.
  • Volume Controls so each zone in a distributed audio system can be adjusted from the room it serves.

Mounting, racks, cables and lamps

The parts that finish an install, and the ones a service call often needs:

  • Mounts for hanging displays and other equipment on walls and ceilings.
  • Racks for organizing head-end electronics in an equipment closet or cabinet.
  • Cables for connecting sources, displays and amplifiers.
  • Accessories for the smaller items that round out a job.
  • Lamps for replacement work on projection equipment.
