Bursma Distributing is a security and home automation distributor for Michigan and Ohio dealers, with branches in Wyoming, MI and Columbus, OH. The Security - Surveillance - Control division covers intrusion, video, access and the control side of the connected home. It is built for alarm dealers, security installers and home technology integrators, not the public.

Intrusion alarms and the 2GIG line

2GIG products have their own 2Gig category. The Intrusion Alarms category holds the equipment that goes into a burglary alarm system, and ZWave collects the devices that tie lights, locks and other home automation into a compatible panel or controller. Access Control covers the equipment for controlling who gets through a door.

Security surveillance: cameras and recording

For video jobs, Cameras and Wireless Cameras sit next to Recorders, so a security surveillance installer can put the cameras and the recording side of a system on the same order. Wireless camera products are also listed in the Broadband - WiFi division for crews working on the network side.

Home control: lighting, climate, shades and IR

Integrators adding automation to a security system will find Lighting, Climate and Shades as separate categories, along with IR for infrared control of equipment that sits out of sight.

Wire, hardware and accessories

Every install needs the parts that never make the proposal. Wire covers cable for security and control runs, and Hardware & Accessories holds the supporting items that complete the job. For a wider choice of cable and connectors, see the Wire - Cables - Connectors division.

Ordering and delivery

Dealers order through their Bursma sales representative, who can confirm pricing and availability. Products may not be resold online, and manufacturers’ UPP policies apply. Bursma trucks make regular weekly deliveries, and free UPS ground applies to qualifying orders shipped to your primary business location in the 48 contiguous states. Bursma also schedules product training with manufacturers through the year; ask your sales representative for the training schedule.
